The Things They Say…

‘Since being in the Pioneer, the return rate on our adverts far and above exceeds the results of all other advertising.’ Duncan Mitchell, Print My Picture, Aldridge

‘I’ve picked up lots of local trade from customers who have said that the Pioneer reminded them of my existence.’ Diane Downes, Hot Foot, Aldridge

‘We have advertised with the Pioneer since its inception and are delighted with the responses we receive.’ Brian Wheat, Wm Wheat & Son, Aldridge

‘The Pioneer is the best advertising we’ve ever done. 70% of our work over the last 18 months has come from Pioneer leads.’ Neil Vincent, NV Roofing, Aldridge

‘The Pioneer makes a good read. Thank you for the great coverage for our Tree of Light. It is first class and with the help that you have given us I do anticipate that we will get a large response from local residents.’ Bob Cooke, Aldridge Rotary Club

The Launch
The Pioneer was launched in Aldridge in September 2007, due to huge demand from businesses in the area for an Aldridge edition following its success in Walsall.

It is a monthly magazine, delivered to 8,000 homes/businesses over a 2 month period, which supports local businesses, traders, clubs and events by advertising their services to specifically targeted areas.

Local Features
Many of the columns and articles are written by people from this area which ensures that the content is topical, lively and relevant. On top of this the magazine boasts Community Pages which provide free publicity to help local clubs and events.

We include features on many topics that are relevant to residents of the area, such as leisure, gardening, children, food, drink, health and beauty. In this way the magazine is intended to be a source of entertainment and interest as well as a point of reference for local services.

Limited Competition
The key thing about the Pioneer is that it is focused on the local community. In the interests of both businesses and neighbourhood residents, we limit the number of direct competitors who advertise with us. This means that as well as supporting our local trade, we can guarantee members of the community personal service from people we know and trust. Businesses who advertise with us will always find themselves dealing with the same two people, and in getting to know who advertises with us, we can make sure the services we promote are genuine.

Compared to the cost of advertising through other media, The Pioneer’s prices are competitive which allows businesses in the area to make themselves known to the people who need them most: you.

Appealing Magazine
The magazine arrived in Aldridge only two months ago, and already we are hearing from local businesses that their trade has rocketed since its introduction. We are able to make residents aware of the multitude of services that are available only minutes from their homes, which demonstrates the appeal of the magazine to both businesses and households.

With advertising available from as little as £25 plus VAT, The Pioneer is the best place to offer the area your services, and also the number one point of reference for Aldridge residents.
