    Wednesday, 27th October, Streetly Local History Group meets at All Saints Church Hall, Foley Road East, from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. The speaker will be Chris Williams from Woodlands Adventure and Outdoor Learning Centre located at at Bourne Vale on the Streetly/Aldridge border. The centre is funded by the Birmingham Boys' and Girls' Union, a registered charity founded over 100 years ago, and provides outdoor activities for young people of all ages and backgrounds.

    A new counselling service is starting at Banners Gate Community Hall on Monday, 1st November. This is a voluntary initiative provided by the New Horizons Counselling Service and their fully qualified counsellors Val and Kellyanne who specialise in bereavement, and domestic abuse. The service will be free of charge and Val and Kellyanne hope to get funding to continue to provide this very necessary community service. Daytime and evening appointments are available.
