Tuesday 16th February - How do you feel we can improve policing in the West Midlands ?
Invitation from the Chair of the West Midlands Police Authority to be heard.

The West Midlands Police Authority is ‘Your Voice’ and we want to listen to you. I am writing with information on a new initiative that the West Midlands Police Authority is launching this year. The Listening Campaign aims to encourage everyone within local communities to let their views be heard on how we can help serve their needs. As Chair of the West Midlands Police Authority I am keen to listen to as many people as possible and would like to personally invite you and members of your organisation to participate and let us know your opinion. We already undertake ongoing consultations, but this campaign aims to get to the grass roots of each community and to encourage people we usually do not have the opportunity to meet with to let us know how they think policing can improve. A meeting is being held on Tuesday 16th February, 7 – 9pm, at Walsall College on Littleton Street. The evening will allow us to briefly introduce the role of the West Midlands Police Authority, which we appreciate can be confusing and then attendees will have the opportunity to have their views heard. We would welcome your attendance and appreciate any support you can provide to bring others with you and to encourage as many of your local contacts to come along too. Please find attached a pdf leaflet explaining what the Police Authority does with a freepost form to register attendance and feedback comments. We have also set up a microsite that can be accessed at www.wmpa-listeningcampaign.co.uk If you would like any more leaflets or have any questions, please contact me by email or on 0121 456 3004. I hope you will support the Listening Campaign and attend on the evening – you are welcome to bring along other individuals who are keen to participate. We would appreciate if you could please confirm your attendance via the registration page

Have you got corncerns or a complaint about something in your local area, do you want to report it and see some action and results ? well.....NOW YOU CAN....Its official...complaints get noticed when you take a moment to write it down on a NEW "One off Issue" FORM. Down load it , fill the essential parts of the form, then choose, take it to your next CAG meeting or Local Neighbourhood Parnership Meeting, post it, or even save it on your pc then email back. The aim of this form is to report details regarding a "one-off issue" that any resident of Aldridge South or Streetly may choose. This information will be logged with a unique reference number. Once the completed form has been actioned you can obtain the latest status of your issue by contacting the LNP office on 01922 652029.
