Thursday 1st May Streetly "Expert Patient Programme" The programme is for anyone who is living with a long term health problem such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, who would like to be more inviolved in the day to day self management of their illness.

Wednesday 7th May meeting of Streetly Local History Group from 10 a.m. - 12.00 noon at Streetly Community Assn. see more information on Local History Society page In an bid to reduce isolation amongst elderly residents and to promote community spirit, Health watch is helping expand what is already a flourishing local history group. The first two meetings were well attended and members enjoyed listening to Keith Henney's childhood memories. Streetly will also be setting up its very pages with your personal recollections, stories and snippets of local social history, which may include pictures or even the facilty to record your words with an oral historian. Streetly website attracts visitors from every part of the world including people who once lived in the local area and now live far away but wish to leave messages and memories for friends on new pages being prepared for Streetly website, contact us if you wish to be included. Down load it , fill the essential parts of the form, then choose, take it to your next CAG meeting or Local Neighbourhood Parnership Meeting, post it, or even save it on your pc then email back. The aim of this form is to report details regarding a "one-off issue" that any resident of Aldridge South or Streetly may choose. This information will be logged with a unique reference number.
