Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Midlands UK.

Hello from Jane!
Just to introduce myself I am the Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Facilitator at Walsall tPCT. I am new in post and my role is to ensure that you, the local residents, local workers and communities are able to feed your views into the groups that are responsible for commissioning the health services that you use in Walsall. Your contribution will help lead to an improved quality of service, and better more efficient services that reflect the needs of the community that they serve.

I will be meeting with voluntary sector organisations in Walsall over the next year so that we can discuss how we could work together to achieve these aims.

I have detailed below information of our next Health Commissioning Consultation Group Meeting which is open to all local residents, you will be made very welcome and i look forward to meeting you.

If however you would like to meet before I arrange to contact you or have anything you would like to discuss before then, please you can call me on the number below or e-mail me.

How GP Practices work, what is on offer, what are core and enhanced services

Followed by a discussion on:

• What information would be most useful for members of the public to know about a GP practise and the services it offers? • What other information would it be helpful for a patient to access via their GP’s or their practice staff or to have available in the surgery?

HCCG’s were set up to assist debate about health needs, health priorities and the current service provision.

Tell us what you think about your health service provision and how services could be improved.
