People who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis will be able to get help and information from a recently set up support group. The Birmingham North Rheumatoid Arthritis Group meets bi-monthly, for a two hour session, at the Sutton Coldfield Methodist Church, South Parade. For more information, visit www.nras.org.uk A new support group has been launched at Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield to help and support couples who are actually going through, or thinking of using, fertility treatment. Two new sleep clinics for children have been set up at Good Hope and Heartlands Hospitals to help children who suffer from sleep problems ranging from night terrors to insomnia. The consultant heading the medical team is concerned that computer gadgets are a big cause of their problems which, in their extreme, mean that some young people sleep all day and are awake all night making it very difficult for them to lead normal lives. Following the success of a similar venture in central Birmingham,Sutton Coldfield couple Natalie Drew and Ashling Phillips have set up a same sex fertility clinic on Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield. The centre will primarily be used to provide a support service for parents. The charity has been running for six years and also has offices in Walmley, Kingstanding and Saltley.
